BLT breaks ground for Phase IV additive manufacturing and powder production factories in 2023

Xi’an Bright Laser Technologies Co., Ltd. (BLT) has officially broken ground on its Phase IV project facilities in High Tech Zone of Xi’an, China. The fourth phase of BLT’s AM construction project is expected to focus on setting up more metal 3D printing powder production lines and customized products production lines with a total construction area of approximately 163,200 square meters.

Phase IV marks that BLT has entered a new historical stage, significantly expanding the production capacity of metal 3D printing powders and customized product printing services in aerospace and other application, actively promoting the upgrading of China’s traditional industrial system, joining global industrial giants to push the boundaries of innovation in manufacturing sector.

BLT’s Phase I and Phase II occupy about 100,000 square meters, consisting of one function building, high-level R&D center and six additive manufacturing factories, becoming the largest intelligent metal additive manufacturing factories in China. Phase III is under construction covering an area of 190,000 square meters, which focus on DfAM, big data, intelligent equipment, unmanned factory automation and other aspects, increasing global competitiveness and create a world-class innovative manufacturing enterprise.

Recently,  BLT announced its revenue growth of 66% in USD 140M 2022. Despite challenging pandemic conditions, BLT has delivered the vigorous performance last year. Currently, with a market value of about $2.53 billion, BLT ranks first among the publicly traded AM companies worldwide. Without doubt, BLT has advanced significantly over the past several years and there is every expectation that its potential will be leveraged by a wider range of manufacturing industries.
