The BLT-A300+ as the exclusively designated metal 3D printer ensured the smooth running of the Second Vocational Skills Competition, which was hosted by the People’s Government of Guangdong Province and concluded at Pazhou Pavilion of China Import and Export Fair in Guangzhou on December 5th 2021.

As additive manufacturing (AM) is a fusion of different technologies such as data acquisition, Computer-Aided Design, material processing and shaping, and 3D digital modeling. The event “Additive Manufacturing” includes four sub-events for ten contestants in three groups competing against the top three.

BLT played its full part in the smooth running of the event by providing technical support leveraged on its expertise in the research on AM and its production. The competition began after BLT’s technicians had provided these contestants and their coaches the training specific to this machine. During the event, the safety training, which was about the usage of water, electricity, and air, and instructions for using powder and lasers, was given to them ahead of each round in compliance with the requirements made by the host.
During the following sub-event B of metal 3D printing, the BLT-A300+, used by the contestant to print designed parts, was in steady operation and acclaimed by both faculty of the vocational college and their student contestants. This was the result of the consistent and professional services efficiently offered by the after-sales engineers in a perfect order to ensure the event going well as they had been the site since November 26th to install the machine, and completed the installation and testing of four sets of machines in just 3 days.
Moreover, the machines was double-checked by these engineers on-site in terms of facilities and fine-tuning to give an ensured go-ahead to run the event.
